VERDURE  (noun) : the quality or state of being in good health

Our group training sessions are inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical abilities. However, you will notice that we also offer ADAPT sessions twice a month, specifically designed for individuals with physical disabilities and/or learning difficulties.

 

This ensures that everyone has access to tailored support to meets their unique needs. This approach not only promotes inclusivity but provides a tailored environment where all participants can thrive and achieve their personal goals. Providing such specialised sessions helps foster a sense of community and understanding, empowering individuals to engage in physical activities at their own pace and ability level.

​Mindful Movement

​

Discover the power of our Mindful Movement group training sessions, where you will engage in movements that support you in growing stronger, both physically and mentally. Whether you're looking to strengthen your body or improve your mental well-being, our sessions are tailored to suit all levels and offer the perfect balance of physical exercise and mental wellness practices.​​

​

Always starting with a breath focus, we then use a mixture of body weight, banded and light resistance exercises to strengthen both physically and mentally.

 

Slower paced, well considered movements allow you to focus on form and develop the connection between your mind and body.

​

Sessions are planned in 4-5 week blocks to allow you to master and develop the movements over time.

Core and Restore

​

Join us at Verdure for our invigorating Group Training - Core and Restore classes, where you will work to improve CORE elements of fitness: endurance, strength and mobility. 

 

You will be supported to develop both your aerobic and muscular strength and endurance through a combination of exercises and short rest periods and always having an emphasis on quality of movement.

​

We wrap up each session with a full body stretching and mobility, to leave you feeling strong, invigorated, and centered.​​

​

Suitable for all fitness levels and experience. 

Strength Circuits

​

A seasoned fitness enthusiast or just starting out, our full body strength fitness sessions cater to all levels.

 

The sessions incorporate a variety of equipment and training strategies to help you build strength and improve your overall fitness. You will be guided and motivated to achieve your goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.

 

Whether you want to build strength to support your everyday life, future-proof your body, or just because you want to lift heavy s**t!, join like-minded individuals and take your strength to new heights!​​

Intervals

Our Group Training - Intervals class at Verdure offers a dynamic workout experience, with a mix of high and low-intensity intervals to help maximise your fitness results.

 

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete, our intervals class is designed to challenge and accommodate all levels. Push your limits and achieve your health and wellness goals.

ADAPT

 

Join our group training sessions designed specifically for adults with additional needs. 

 

Each session is thoughtfully tailored to cater to the unique requirements of each individual to support them in developing CORE elements of fitness: endurance, strength and mobility. 

​

Parents / carers have the option to join in as well!

Family F.I.T

​

Family F.I.T (Fun Interval Training) with a huge focus on FUN!


Sessions use a variety of interval training styles to develop aerobic and muscular fitness.


Suitable for children 6 and above.

Must be accompanied by at least 1 adult (over the age of 18)​​

F.E.E.L @ Home

 

The sessions integrate physical exercise, mindfulness, and breathwork focuses, providing a framework for enhancing both physical fitness and emotional resilience.

 

Each session is designed to be flexible, accommodating the needs and learning goals of individuals.

 

The physical exercise component encourages children to develop strength, coordination, and endurance through fun and engaging activities, whereas the mindfulness and breathwork practices help in cultivating focus, reducing stress, and fostering a sense of calm.

 

Additionally, sessions offer time for support with academic learning – if required - and create opportunities for families to bond, relax, and engage with others.

Just Flow!

 

Just Flow sessions aim to develop your joint mobility and stability, facilitating you to move more freely and confidently in everyday activities. Sessions incorporate a mix of conditioning, corrective exercise, yoga and dance inspired flows, and are designed to cater to individuals of all fitness levels.

 

Focuses:

  1. Dynamic Stretching: Engaging in movements that gently stretch muscles and improve flexibility, helping to prevent injuries.

  2. Conditioning Exercises: Targeting key muscle groups to support joint function and stability, ensuring a balanced body.

  3. Balance Work: Incorporating exercises that enhance proprioception and coordination, crucial for maintaining stability in various situations.

  4. Breathing Techniques: Breathing methods to support both physical activity and relaxation.

  5. Mindful Movement: Encouraging participants to develop mind and body connection, so movement and breath work as one.

Before you start an exercise programme with Verdure, and as part of the booking provess, you will complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) and agree to our: Privacy Policy, Waiver of Risk Policy and Code of Conduct Policy
